Wedding season is in full force and I couldn’t have been happier to end the month of February with Kelly and Billy’s beautiful wedding. I’ve known Kelly for many years now, so I was honored and excited (and a bit nervous) when she asked me to capture her big day. 

Kelly and her mom have spent the last several months planning (crafting and building) all the beautiful details that went into her special day and it paid off! The setting was absolutely gorgeous. I may be a bit biased since 3 years ago in April me and my hubby were married at the same venue. I am always so excited to go back and see other love stories start the same way mine did.

The Bonnette Banquet Lodge is the perfect combination of that old Florida feel with a little kick of southern charm. The spring florals, rustic details and antique decor that Kelly brought in made the space come to life to be absolutely picture perfect. 

I spent the morning with Kelly and her girls (and the cutest girl of them all, their daughter Savannah) laughing at every quote in the movie Bridesmaids and watching these beautiful ladies laugh, sing and get ready for the day. I had two amazing photographers along to help me capture the day. Thank you so much to Jessica Deyoung Photography and Christina Craddock Photography for your amazing talent and help! As we left the hotel to head to the venue, the typical Florida thunderstorm came rolling through and I crossed my fingers that it would be fast! Soon after arriving and running through the rain to snap some details, Kelly and the girls pulled up as the rain turned into a drizzle and the girls were ready to trek through the wet ground to take some gorgeous photos. (Thanks for rocking it out) As for most rainy Florida days the sun came out just in time for the ceremony.

Friends and family gathered to watch Kelly and Billy say their vows under the beautiful Banyan Tree. The night followed with emotional toasts, a rocking dance floor, a fun photo booth and a beautiful sparkler exit to wish the happy couple off. Kelly and Billy, thank you so much for allowing me to be such a big part of your wedding day. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites!
