Day two back here in America and I am still dreaming about the views, the weather, the people, the food and the beer! What an amazing trip of a lifetime! Myself and my husband traveled over to Ireland for our very dearest friends wedding week! (If you haven’t had a chance to see the wedding sneak peek on Facebook, stop right now and check it out!) I am beyond excited to share the wedding day images but today I am sharing some of my personal travel photos from our 10 days of memories.
The hubby and I decided to rent a home in the town where the wedding was going to take place, Dalkey. This town is adorable and I wish we would have had a couple more days to truly explore all it had to offer. I am pretty much obsessed with our little home away from home:
Upon our Sunday AM arrival our group went straight to the Guinness Factory, to help cure our jet lag and to spend some time in the city before our rooms and homes were ready for us to check in! Then it was time to relax. We woke up Monday with a free day so myself, my hubby and my friend Ashley decided to take the train to a town called Howth. We took the ferry over to the island called Ireland’s eye were we hiked around and to the top of the summitt! It was beautiful.
The next day the wedding crew headed up to the Hill of Tara and Trim Castle, exploring Ireland’s ancient East. The US Ireland Experience gang provided our group with amazing transportation to and from our journeys through Ireland. If you are headed that way and don’t want to worry about a thing, you must contact them! The next two days were filled with wedding festivities (these images will be coming soon)!! Then we spent the weekend exploring around Phoenix Park in Dublin, hitting up the Dublin bars, then off to one of my favorite places we explored, The Wicklow Mountains. We even stopped at the bridge were the scene from PS I love you was filmed!!!!
Off to Phoenix Park!! We tried to spot the wild deer but didn’t have any luck! It still was beautiful though!
Then to my favorite location…. The Wicklow Mountains!
