Have you ever wanted to capture not only a moment in time but a whole day? I am so excited to offer my new type of sessions called a Day in the Life. Over the many years of being a photographer I have loved to capture the joy and laughter of a family. But sometimes during a 1 hour portrait session it’s hard to really truly see who a family is. Don’t get me wrong, these sessions are beautiful but I wanted to take it a step further and offer a purely photo journalist approach to my family shoots in addition to my portrait style session.

The day in the life focuses on un-posed, un-staged documentary style photography. It’s a time to capture not only how you and your family look but what a Sunday afternoon looked like in this moment in time. These can be done in your own home or a location of your choice. Some activities that you can capture include, making pancakes, craft time, camping in your backyard, you name it and we can brainstorm what makes your family who they are! These types of sessions are great for families with young kids who love to run around or to capture your first few days home with your new baby.
